mmm, i just finished a turkey and cranberry in a biscuit sandwich, all leftovers from yesterday's fabulous meal prepared by flavia and blake. well, technically, i bought and brought the cranberry sauce but flav opened it, stuck a spoon in it, and put it on the table. oh, and i ran to the grocery store for cans of pitted olives after we discovered flav had bought pit-ful olives. how can you eat pit-ful olives off your fingers? (answer: you can't) the five of us (sam, flav, blake, ziva, and i) had a wonderful thanksgiving and i was sent home with lots of leftovers for which i am thankful.
i am also happy to report that i got a 93 on my second epidemiology exam. this is the class in which i failed the first exam so it was really important that i do well on the second exam. and i did. and i am thankful.
you should probably sit down for this next announcement if you're not already. i went shopping today. it's true. i braved the masses and went to target. i needed a couple of things and i thought if i waited until about 10:30 or 11 it wouldn't be so bad. i was wrong (i didn't get a 93 in day-after-thanksgiving-shopping). it actually wasn't horrible but it wasn't fun. at one point i almost abandoned my cart and left just out of panic over the number of people in every row. but i persevered and when i went to check out, there was actually a checker looking for customers! worked out for both of us. i was thankful.
in other news, it didn't snow yesterday. it's a beautiful, clear day today, about 40 degrees, and the sun is shining. i am thankful.
